I'm not sure how but my electricity use at home fell down to 1.07 kWh per day on average since October 2014 (before it was typically about 2 kWh per day), less hot food cooking, computer use and less being at home are the only possibilities I can think of. So in 2015 my electricity bill was 876 DKK but I paid 3036 DKK, so I get 2160 DKK back. In 2014 I got 1218 DKK back.

In 2014 I had to pay an extra 450 DKK for heating, so I decided that in the future I wanted to stop using my radiators for heating and instead put on more clothes. From 2015 I get 661 DKK back, so I think it has worked, and I can highly recommend it to people who want to save a bit. Maybe the winter also was a bit hotter than last year.

I've done this before and I always got strange comments from people about wearing my winter jacket indoors :P

yeah i can't do that because my hands get so cold my typing speed halves. and gloves thick enough to stop that are both annoying and makes typing impossible

If you put on more clothes, I suppose the body heat should be redistributed to your hands? And there should be a point where you could still type without feeling too warm?

My biggest problem with it is probably the mornings, getting up when it's cold and going out to cycle isn't nice, even though I get warm on the way, it's just very unpleasant. And generally it seems hard to find a balance with the clothes, I often ended up taking my jacket on and off every hour or so maybe, when I ended up getting too annoyed by either freezing or sweating. And my mao shoes are a few numbers too big so walking in them feels strange kol.

Blood flow also helps distribute heat. When freezing it often helps to do a bit of hops and swining out the arms to get the blood flowing and muscles to produce a bit of heat. And the friction from rubbing hands is another useful trick.

you can also hold a hot cup of stuff in your hands and it will supposedly warm up your whole body since the veins or something

There are many flowers right now. I saw some boulevards in Copenhagen that were filled with tulips in the middle, it looks very nice.

here in wisconsin our seasons are flipped. We have summer in the winter and fluctuating between hell froze over and the sun in temperature during the actual summer.
