I use exoplanet.eu and Hanno Rein's Exoplanet app (based on this site) all the time. They're quite useful.

number of planets, number of stars? (think binary! or even maybe triple or quadruple stars) number of moons
asteroid belts? earth-like planet
gas giant system/massive planet system (so you can simulate something that would be discovered by looking at the wobble of the parent star)
maybe you could show the composition of the planet?
ring systems (yes or no)
color of sun
eh, ill stop at that

Random Seed Input

Binary System y/n

% Jovian % Terrestrial

Asteroid Belts

Atmosphere Composition and stuff.

Mass, Diamiter, Density, Albedo.

Eccentricity, Inclination.

Spectral Class, Luminosity, and Temp of the Parent star

Moons

Generate a Realistic amount of planets. stargen generates like 5000032 in every system.

Option for: Force Habitable Planet in System

Yes, you can. You can use a number-only seed.

It's called rand(9999999999999), or it's called "use ruby".

OT: Most of these are neat, and they seem useful for when you want to create a system but have no idea what to do in terms of the layout and the amounts of everything.

i found this: Astrosysthesis

It generates whole systems with the right physics and chemistry, supposedly. I just liked the screenshots, the easily displayed stats, and the textures that come with it!

If I remember correctly, there aren't any program-made textures. It's uploaded from his computer.

Yes you can save the textures, no you can't save the systems you generate (that's the downfall of the trial)

whats wrong with ms paint lol
i mean it sucks, but you don't need any editing really for pasting images...
(and it loads faster, otherwise i'd use paint.net)
