My Mom's old emails got deleted, i got a new computer...

so my mom's Thunderbird deleted all the old emails... two days later, (today, actually) i got my own desktop. but the email which had the product key got lost. i remember the name and email but not the product key:(. is there anyway to retrieve it so i can put it on my sparkling new desktop that runs The demo like a hot knife through butter? or would i have to buy a new copy?
