I hate building like that. I always build roads radiating off other roads, and that seems to help. I also upgrade it.

You also live in USA, where the roads are usually built that way.

But the strategy is very effective. Even though I wouldn't use it in the middle of my region/city, it looks unrealistic if the center of a big city has that kind of roads I think... It also requires open spaces between some of the areas sometimes.

I make a grid of roads, and I drift away from the grid style sometimes, but your style is interesting, and I'll try it.
I cheat in the game by hacking the money code and changing the amount of money, but don't say anything about that. It doesn't destroy the game, and how would the company know?

Steam as well. I have billions of games I can download, I got them all for free! Although when I got in the beta, it failed.

Can you get to www.simtropolis.com? or does it try to redirect to a simtropolis.dk? It's there. Search NAM on ST Exchange and you'll find it. Oh and an account is needed to download it.

It's certainly not too slow, but it's Windows 7 64-bit. I don't think SimCity 4 likes 64-bit, but it works fine on my Vista 32-bit laptop.

I think you can try -w heightxwidthx32 onto the shortcut. Or whatever the first letter of window is in Danish.

It's a program, you have to do this once installed:
1. Open Simcity 4
2. Open a city
3. Hit Microsoft Key
4. Open Cheat Engine
5. Click on Find Process
6. Select the Process of Simcity 4
7. Go back to game
8. Find amount of money you have in that city
9. Hit Microsoft Key
10. Search that amount
11. Go back to game
12. Spend some money
13. Hit Microsoft Key
14. Search new amount (hit the NEXT SCAN and not new scan to search it)
15. There should only be one amount in the results list
16. Double click it
17. Right click on entry in the bottom section
18. Click Change Record and Type
19. Choose 8 Bytes
20. Right click on entry in the bottom section
21. Click Change Record and Value
22. Type in 600,000,000 (without commas)
23. Go back to game and spend some money
