Here is the next update. By the way, what you see on the map is what Cordoba knows of.

The French and English appear and the First Roman Republic wars with the French.

Also, Cordoba has changed from Islam to Catholicism, thus changing it from a Caliphate to a United Kingdom.

In depth:

The Battle of Milan and Venice wrestled control from the HRE. This was a sad defeat for the HRE which was powerful. The Battle of Baden-WÃ¼rttemberg cut that region in half, and the Battle of North Rhine-Westphalia took a province from them.

the balance between sharp angles and smooth borders is hard. Both make it look wrong.
And cheery colors/non-gradients that look like gradients need some work.

My brand-new ATL, which I decided to fill in entirely before posting.

And yes, I didn't bother to put the borders within the HRE, since that's really boring and tedious.

By the way, stop freaking complaining about my borders. I don't have the time to do them all "fancy" nor do I want to take the time to do it either... $:-\$

Don't ask me why Norway, Sweden, Golden Horde, Timurid Empire, Egypt, Algiers and Morocco are in big letters, and why Morocco is spelled wrong, and why one country (Sameland) doesn't have a name over it. I rushed it.

I get all my maps from Wikipedia.

I recommend this subdivision map, and this border-less world map. All you need to do, is just crop out the North American area, and bam, you have a map of North America. Be sure to copy all the way down the to the Republic of Panama, and up to the Commonwealth of Canada and Alaska.

If you want me too, I'll be glad to help you crop it.

And be warned, I don't exactly mean "cropping" it. You have to delete South America, which starts at the border of Panama and Colombia. You then white out Iceland, and then you basically just cut out North America... unless I find another North America map.
