I wanted to apologize to everyone for how long the forum has been down. I really thought it would only take a few hours to transfer this site to a new host, that turned into a day, and then days.
The good news is that the transfer to the new host is complete.
Why was the forum down for so long?
1) The backup for the site was huge and failed to copy 3 times before I got a good copy off my old host.
2) My new host was somewhat unresponsive to my 'Urgent' request to restore the backup.
3) There was a username conflict with this site and another site on the same server.
4) Even once the site was restored the file permissions were incorrect (apparently they always were) and the forum was broken as this host inforces proper file read/write permissions.
I'm sorry it took so long. We're on a new host and shouldn't have to do this again for a long time.
In addition to switching hosts I've also upgraded to the latest version of SMF. Please let me know if anything doesn't seem to be working or if you have any problems.
