The Story Game
« on: May 19, 2010, 05:30:18 PM »
Okay, so there are no rules to this, but, you can write a maximum of 5 sentences.

What you do, is we take turns adding to the story... Also, please let it make sense!!!! One more thing, you can go as soon as someone else goes!

START:

"Oh no," Erna said, "There's a rocky reef ahead! Steer clear!"
Marcos took the ship under control from the already dead captain, and tried to maneuver around the reef.

(So, in the story, you can do anything with Erna, and Marcos, the new captain, and you can even take them to land and make a rocket go in space, I don't care, just follow the two rules above!)

Marcos crashed into the reef because he turned the wrong way, and he did so because he got knocked away from his wheel.
Erna went to a log cabin for the night. There were people near it, and they said it was haunted.

Erna had managed to escape from the wreckage, and not get hurt by the sharp, piercing life of the coral. She had been on an island for a few days now, with some natives, who spoke little English, but as before, they told her it was haunted.

Erna went inside, and she was scared. She walked into the kitchen, and she saw a dead body on the floor, and she freaked out. The cabin door was gone, and there was no outside.

There seemed no way of escape. She had learned about multiple dimensions in science, but she was a seafarer, and didn't remember much. She tried to recall the studies.

(try not to make the story go so quick, make it progress slowly, so that I don't have to fill in the details of what you say, make it go slower so that multiple people can have the same part in the story)

(on another note, anyone can add another character and stuff)

Erna went towards the area with the door, and suddenly she got stuck in space.

In space, Erna saw Earth like a wall paper. Meteors passed by Erna, like earthquakes. She didn't want to be in this disaster anymore.

So she ran right towards the "wallpaper" and she fell into a room with billions of math problems on the wall. She broke her chalk in half, and a "whole" appeared on the wall, and she went in. Erna was back home again, at the log cabin.

(WOAH HORSEY! SLOW DOWN THE PACE!)

She inspected the log cabin. There was an odd external force working on her. She could not know what...

(I don't want to slow down my already normal pace,  >:( )
She found a block of dark matter next to her, and it pulled her inside. She disappeared. Marcos came back to life, and he found the same log cabin.

(Normal Pace? So, you write stories like "I was onc eon an island, I found a way to get off. It was a boat, the boat turned into a croclodile. The crocodile almost ate me, so I went to another dimension, when I came back, I was home. I told everyone about it and they didn't believe me"?)

(Yes, sometimes I write like that. And don't try this (I never want to try it either.): There was a girl. The girl won an award. The girl was happy. The girl wanted to win this award next time. That's repetitive.)

Inside that cabin, Marcos found a man. He did not seem real. The man was frail, and seemed to look right through him, not noticing his presence.

The man walked toward Marcos. Marcos was scared, so he tried to find a sharp object.

Marcos looked around quickly, but to no avail. His first instinct was to try to get him to reply, "Who are you? Why are you here?" he said. The man did not reply.

The man walked through Marcos. He walked out of the door, and he disappeared. Marcos tried to figure out what happened, and tried to find Erna.

Marcos heard a shriek, very much like that of Erna. Macros ran out side, but then heard Erna inside "What the **** was that?". Marcos's face ran white... It wasn't Erna.

(I'm just shoving the mystery deeper and deeper aren't I?)

A white figure appeared behind him in the dark. He entered another dimension, and exploded.

The landscape became white. Marcos could not see anything. Just as quickly as the white was there, it was gone. The white figure had become a Raman biot.

It walked toward him. Marcos heard a voice. It was the voice of Erna, she couldn't see anything in her dimension. Marcos tried to go, but Marcos couldn't move.

Marcos was being controlled by the biot. The biot had him walk into the forest, where it left him. Lost. Stranded.

A black shadow went through the bushes. Marcos heard laughter, and thought it was a ghost. He was scared, but he checked anyways. There, he fell to a small pit. And he heard someone trapped...

"Laughing in a pit? That's absurd!" Marcos said, pondering his situation. He studied his new surroundings, when it hit him... He, like the others, will never get out. "But wait, if they're laughing, they must be here for a reason," he saw them, it was a group of 9 to 11 year old children with 3 lanterns chattering in a mineshaft.

Marcos saw a girl. It looked like Erna, but slightly different. She saw Marcos and drew out her wooden sword. "Who are you and why are you here?".

"I was taken here," Marcos said, "Can you help me find my way out?". He doubted it would work, but always tried the friendly approach first.
