ok then make 1 in 6000 blazes drop a blaze rod

He can't change the drop rate without a mod.

Anyhow, anybody have ideas on making the Jaguar god statues head look better? I know the ears are a bit strange, but its the muzzle/nose that I can't seem to decide on how it looks good.

Just call it something else than god and it's fine.

I think it looks very good. I can't really think of improvements.

Yes, we have been using iron tools sustainably for a long time and have plenty of iron.

Not like anybody is going to be worshipping it. How about Jaguar Supreme Being statue? lol. Doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

Or just Jaguar Statue? Great Jaguar Statue? Etc. I'm sure there are other options than "god".
Supreme being isn't really any better either imo.

Giant Jaguar Statue?

oh jesus christ you're making a bigger deal about it having to be renamed than if it was just left alone. just because you think that they're fictional doesn't mean that there can't be anything even remotely to do with actual worship, offering, and such.

It can be called anything as long as it doesn't violate the rules. I don't care really what it's called. :) As long as we can keep a few, unneeded things out of Blacraft.

it's not even a religion in real life, so why does it matter?

The concept of gods is central to most religions, and I don't want it to be a part of Blacraft.
Anyway, I guess there's no reason to make a big deal out of it? Just keep gods out of Blacraft.

no. only irl gods because why would someone start raving about a statue that smjjames built that is called a "jaguar god" and believe that it is the one (or two, or three, or whatever) true god(s)?

It irrelevant whether they confuse them with gods from "real" religions. I don't think they would either. I just don't want the god concept inside Blacraft. I'll add that to the rules now just to avoid confusion if people think they can make non-religious "god" things.

I most likely would not allow that either. I don't mean Blacraft to be an antireligious world. I'd be fine with religious people playing and being treated like everybody else, most likely some of the users are already religious. I just don't want religion or gods physically expressed inside the Blacraft world. If we don't have religion in Blacraft, I don't think we should have antireligious things either.
No churches whether they're christian or pastafari.

I wouldn't have priests in areas I manage, but I'll let other people have them if they want. I can't disable them anyway, and I can't disable generating churches either.
I'm not going to tell people to destroy generated things.

Also, it turns out we already have a "squid farm".

Oh come on Bla, its based on Mesoamerican culture! I was kind of being sarcastic with the supreme being thing though.

I don't really care if its called a jaguar god statue or not, it's just based on inspiration from Mesoamerican culture. You can call it Jaguar King statue or whatever. Unless you don't want kings in Blacraft either :P

Its just a freaking statue, not meant to have any religious value at all.

You can call it a Jaguar king if you want. A few other ideas:

Mesoamerican Jaguar
Aztec Jaguar
Giant Jaguar/Jaguar Giant
Great Jaguar
Glorious Jaguar

Meh, dictatordreadnoughts are dreadliest.

Kipz, I understand you may not want to enchant 8 skovels with 30 levels, but maybe you could kolkutelate what level would be optimal to enchant them with? I could imagine a lower level would be optimal. You could get Unbreaking I to II or something like Efficiency I or II and it would still be a big boost, but getting 20 levels takes much less time than 30 because of exponential.

Also, I began working on digging out a hole for an ink factory in Blue Bay. I red that squids only spawn from y = 45 to y = 62, so it'll only go down to 45, with a part further down where they die from fall damage and a point to pick up the ink ofc.
I plan to make it mostly out of glass. And also dug it in a place so that it can be adjacent to a future rail tunnel going north from Blue Bay.

If anyone wants to help, they're welcome. Currently getting some xp to enchant skovels.
Obviously it's going to be public. And the quarry is 50 x 30 meters.

Ventus xp farm, started in level 1:

9 minutes: Level 18
13 minutes: Level 23
17 minutes: Level 26
20 minutes: Level 28
22 minutes: Level 30

Edit:

Remember to vote in Mudkipz's poll, those who are interested. It now has a wiki page, and the voting center has been converted to using books.
http://blacraft.wikia.com/wiki/Blacraft/Kaktoland/Spawntown/Blacraft_Voting_Center/201208122350

Began working on the ink farm quarry. Dug out down to and including layer 59. Approximately 9000 blocks so far (maybe it's just a bit over 9000).
19500 blocks to go.

i've done a considerable amount of shoveling today, spent 6 blocks of iron on quarrying, although this is several times above average.

The total amount of material i've excavated is enough to fill the spawntown voting center 15 times over, cover spawntown in 5+ meters of material, or build a great wall from desertopia to kaeshar 7 tall and 3 wide. I have enough dirt to build about 12 replicas of border hill wheat farm too.

kol.
