I don't know about rarity charts, but the MC wiki page: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Enchanting is pretty comprehensive and there is a link to a site which allows you to test and simulate enchantments.

Can I use a blaze rod or two (not sure if I'll use one or two, but two would be enough) to make brewing stands?

I've finished the observatory (took most of the day) and have dug out sleeping quarters and a research lab/library just under the observatory itself.

The thing is that there isn't all that much which would look like research stuff, at least not in single blocks. The room itself isn't particularily big, 9x4x3, so.... Edit: Hrm.... if I made it 4 blocks high, I could put a decent looking screen in there.... I'll just use my imagination and figure something out.

Also, I tried to make the dome, well,  like a dome, but it seems to have come out more conical. Its my first attempt at one anyway.

What I tried to do was use the circle chart, and its my first time actually trying to make a decent circle in minecraft, at least one on a larger scale.

But yes I could definetly use help here.

Its on the mountain peak just behind your cabin to the north.

Okay, although I'm going to have to destroy a whole lot of irretrievable glass when I redo it.

I mean the glass thats already there (I have it in a cross pattern).

Maybe it's because it's kind of a small dome, 19 tiles in diameter and perhaps I should remove some off the top to make it flatter.

Still, in looking at the circle chart, I can see what I did wrong there.

Also, does anybody have a silk touch enchanted tool (or two, just in case) that I can borrow? Theres 200+ glass blocks that I'd have to remove.

I dont think any1 does, and in 1.2.3, Silk touch doesn't work on glass/glass panes. :(

i don't think it is worth a silk touch. Silk touch should be used to mine like, ore blocks or ice, something that cannot be obtained in any other way. 200 glass blocks aren't too much, i can get that in just 10 minutes or so. and no one here has a silk touch

At least sand is generally plentiful.

Okay then, and I guess I misunderstood the purpose of silk touch, and possibly how hard it is to get the enchantment itself.

So about the blaze rods,
Ok, blaze rods are very hard to get, though, so would two or three be enough for now?

But he is sever Adim, so ask him.
Hopefully: SHARING IS CARING!!! (pic below), and he'll agree.

I get that they are hard to get and thats what I was doing in the earlier post, asking Bla. Its not critical or anything as I'm not really sure if a brewing stand would actually fit in since its an observatory, not a chemical lab. So, I was just asking first if I could use one. If it doesn't fit in right, I can just put it in dumping.

Its really just an idea that I had about using it, I don't know if I actually will use one or not. Also I'm not planning on using it for brewing. If Bla doesn't want me to use the blaze rods, thats not a problem.

Yes, you can take a blaze rod for your brewing stand.

I recommend seeing if one brewing stand is enough. I don't think you need to brew that often, but if you use it a lot and have to wait a lot, you can take another one later.

I'm not planning on using it, at least not in the near future anytime soon. Anybody dropping by is welcome to use it if I put one in there though.

New MC update, and among the fixes is this: + Added a “minimal” debug menu for testing with. Shift+F3 to hide the graphs

Useful for when you want to see the coords or the focus direction indicator (which I've been using like a compass) and the usage graph is spiking over the numbers.

No reccommended build for Bukkit yet, which seems like is what everybody is waiting for (or maybe summer vacation) before becoming active again.

Hrm, someone in a post on their forums said that EvilSeph (one of the devs) said 12 hours ago on twitter that they were updating to 1.2.4 R1.0 soon, so, heres hoping for a recommended release within the week....

Anybody know how many development phases they have? They already started phase 3 and one of the devs said their personal guess may be tonight.

Still, even if they make a recommended build today, it'll take some time for Bla to make sure the plugins are updated, update the server, do chunk cleanup, and whatever else he has to do.

However I can wait another day or two.

*Is hoping for a rainforest biome to the west/northwest of Kaeshar*

Edit: Just a heads up since the Bukkit update seems imminent, within 24 hours anyway.

Bla, do you usually go for a recommended update or can you use the development/beta builds? Not trying to get you to update early (especially since they are still fixing a few bugs), just wondering here.

Hey guys, I don't know if you know already, but there are new textures for the wood planks depending on the wood type for 1.2.4.

BTW, theres also the new smooth sandstone and ones with heiroglyphs (made with slabs).
