I suggest just leaving it for until 1.2 is ready, then I'll try to remember to think of what do to at that time.

I just thought I'd have some fun, thats all :)

Regenerating that area sounds better despite the chance that it could just be ocean, or a micro-rainforest could appear.

I think it crashed, it's back up. You might have lost stuff and ended up somewhere else, so come online asap and tell me if you lost anything.

Ok, blaze rods are very hard to get, though, so would two or three be enough for now?

Now that Atomic has approved of any of the plans....

I'll pick the yellow branch and then keep southward to the area of the small lakes and former lava pool.

So, the poll is up now.

Should we spend 512 iron and 70 gold from the collective storages to extend the rails from Rift Auspikitan to Kaeshar?

Poll closes: 201203150000UTC (March 15).

Vote. :)

Sounds like you've got alot of building to do Fiah.

Also I put lots of torches on the road in Revoluta out of frustration in losing the road from the snow.

You should get permission to do anything in other people's regions though.

I understand that, but the road kept getting snowed over and it was out of frustration. Fiah can do as he wishes with the torches though. Its just the snowy area that I put torches on, I didn't move/remove anything.

Fiah yes, I guess your rails can be like that, I'm still considering the potential regulations though.

Btw trade centers sound capitalist. :P We don't trade, we share. :P

Also, Rail Info building completed. Because yes.

Looks nice.

Did we decide on whether to standardize the stations? I want to make a mural of some kind (the dimensions are actually 19x15, I'll probably go with 19x10), but I understand if you want to standardize it and use some specific color(s) and materials.

I'll be messing around in creative first of course.

I haven't decided.
If we standardize it (which I'm for), I'm not sure how we should do it. Make one fixed design where you can choose two or three different materials in the pattern, or make a few different designs which you can choose from and also let you choose the materials?
Design 1 is the style currently used in Spawntown (red = bricks, green = sandstone).

We could also make these blocks standardized, but allow everything above the bottom three blocks to be however you like it. So the bottom three blocks are standardized with for example sandstone, brick, sandstone in Spawntown, and then a mural above them from layer 52 to the surface (if it were in the tunnel which was dug up to the surface). I think that's the best option.

We could also vote for it. Do you want to vote for it? We can make a poll to determine if we should vote for it. Uhh.

I'm using sandstone both because its in a desert (which Spawntown is as well) and because it's as close to adobe as it gets for Minecraft. At least the color is close if not the side pattern.

I was thinking of having the mural (which is most likely going to be a landscape type) be 19x10, so moving it up a few blocks won't be a problem.

The mural itself will be on one wall between the 1320 and 1340 coordinate columns.

I'm fine with standardizing it and using a few different designs (I've already done the floor of the station though, that could be one design), although I did expand the station a block outwards on the sides.

For voting on it, maybe?

I put some ristrictions into the law. If people don't like it, they can make a poll to have it removed/changed.

I made a wiki page for the entire UBSR law:

http://blacraft.wikia.com/wiki/Rules/Law_of_the_Union_of_Blacraft_Socialist_Regions

I put rules about what blocks can be used too, so if I forgot any, tell me so I can add them. Dirt, gravel etc. shouldn't be available imo.

I didn't see the images until after I posted, the floor for mine is a slight variant on image 3.

What about this paragraph:
The side walls may also be extended, but only if multiple rail lines are placed next to each other, filling up the sides. The same material is placed below the new rails as the material chosen to be below the inner rails, and similarly the extra ceiling blocks are made of the same material as the three middle ones.

Since I made the station one tile wider because I thought it would just be easier to view it that way, not to mention constructing it, is it fine for the station to be like that or do you want me to narrow it back down to three?

There isn't any problem with narrowing it back down to three blocks wide, I'm just checking.

Idk, if you haven't spent too much time on it I would recommend narrowing it back.

And how is your wall/ceiling/floor pattern? Can you make it fit one of the three designs, or show how your design is? Maybe I'll add it.

How about leaves? I know they're unusual for underground, but someone may want to be creative. Maybe allow snow and ice? The ice would be tricky though.

I haven't made the mural yet, so it's okay, the ceiling is glass anyway, haven't made a wall pattern yet besides sandstone.

For the pattern, I can show you a screenshot, instead of cobblestone, I could use sandstone for the block the torch is on. The extra space on the right is simply where I wanted the mural to go.

So the walls and ceiling are sandstone, and then the floor is cobble, but with a line of sandstone across every 5 meters (at the torches)?
I guess that can be added as a pattern, I like it, but... It just doesn't seem very consistent with the rest. It's always a hard decision whether there should be consistency, but it's important to decide it now if we don't want to risk spending a lot of time replacing the walls.
Maybe we should go down to just one design for the rail tunnel itself, and then people can be creative on the murals?

I don't think leaves should be added because they are transparent and torches can't be placed on them.

Forgot about the not being able to put torches on leaves.

More like the side blocks being sandstone and a sandstone or cobblestone block at the torches, also the ceiling is glass, it's just not shown in the screenshot.

IMO, the only regulations for stations should be that they should let people go up without much difficulty and not obstruct the tracks at all, and not take up too much space.

We aren't discussing regulations on stations currently. :P
We're discussing the walls/floor/ceiling.
