Or blow it up, (risking destroying your items).

I tried taking it out block by block, but it feels as futile as taking water from the sea and dumping it back in, not to mention that I DO NOT want to get stuck and die down there.

@Bong: I can move my items elsewhere first and store things (like armor...), but read the wiki on TNT, I don't think its neccesarily going to work, and where am I going to get the TNT anyway?

How long have you been there? Because items disappear after 5 minutes.(if you did not already know that)

how deep is it? just filling it with sand should work. blowing it up won't damage the water and it will blow up all items within 10 blocks or so

Longer than 5-10 minutes. I'm not trying to recover the items, I know they're gone, I'm recovering the pit itself. Besides, the items would have been likely very deep down or in a hole with a current going through. I attempted to recover things like 3 or 4 times, remember?

@Mudkipz: 10 blocks at the most I think? Theres lots of sand close by, so supply won't be an issue.

well filling the pit with sand will empty all the water out, i'm not sure why you want to empty the pit of water though.

Fiah, you'll have to develop it, and I can't just suddenly give you such a big region.

Smjjames, what did you lose and how much? Please be more careful with the items if you can. If you go to places where you're at risk of dying, you can for example make a chest nearby and only take the tools/items you need to do what you planned for.

I'll update the isometric map now and put the link in the first post when I'm done. The isometric map will be of the same world as the last updated world map, however (otherwise I'd have to download the world again and make a new isometric rendering).

Oh no you don't Fiah! The Red you can have, the green parts I claim and I declare the yellow to be international waters.

I lost about 30 glowstone (again, sorry >< ) diamond leggings and boots, possibly a bucket, and some bread, and maybe an iron shovel. Also lost some dirt blocks and/or cobble that I was trying to use to plug the hole at the time, but that's moot anyway.

For the isometric map, other than me digging out the sand from the small island just west of the pyramid (I refilled it with dirt to preserve the ascethics) and what I did with the island mentioned, there arent too many major changes I'm sure.

What was the first battleground? At least this one is more of a diplomatic battle.

Fiah, you can have that taiga, but the big desert island and the one just southwest of it should be unclaimed. The only reason you're keeping the other four is because you HAVE developed them (well, three of them are anyway, I don't dispute that.

The Battleground: http://blacraft.wikia.com/wiki/Blacraft/The_Battleground

Ohes, and also, whoever forgot to replant the automatic farms at Border Hill, you forgot to replant the automatic farms at Border Hill.
I'm going to do it. But please try to remember it.

Maybe I could have replanted the one that I used, the seeds are in storage though.

Anyways, the isometric map updated?

Is the isometric map showing the newly explored areas for anybody else? It isn't for me and I thought thats what Bla meant he would use.

That's not the new isometric map I put up yesterday... I'm 100% sure I put the new one in, but I can't find it in my history now either.
One post I wrote which I was sure I posted also didn't appear...
