Awesome. :)
You're welcome to play on Blacraft, and I can't imagine that anyone on this forum hates you.

Just tell me if you're applying to join the Hamachi network mentioned in the first post.

Yes, i PM'ed you about it.

Requirements?
I think it should be based in Europe. Because Europe is awesome. :P
Ability to download the world whenever I want. So I can map it and take frequent backups, if the server doesn't do it itself.
Anything else?
If it is in europe then there will be no effect if it was hosted or not (i live is Aus), but its up to you.

But where should it be hosted, then?

Europe: No improvement for me. NeutronStar can use it. Probably improvements for everybody else (the server might be better, also because it doesn't use Hamachi)
North America: Improvements for Naru523, NeutronStar, Darvince and other people in that area. Worse for Bla, and possibly for SuperNova and Matty406 too. Probably slightly better for Quontex.
Australia: Better for Quontex, probably worse for everybody else. :P

I don't really care, as long as I can play approximately as good on it as I can on my own computer.

Well that is a good point, it probably will be better being hosted and not on hamatchi.

Idea, Vote for a voice server.....Do we need one?

How about this? Choose a place on the world that is as equidistant as possible of all continents on that list.

Good idea, Deoxy99.

Btw, I fixed the chunk which crashed the server when you ventured close to the Pine Hill Center (and another one further away, which was also broken).

I never use voice functions, but if some of you want it, we could. We could also just voice through Steam, Skype or something else. I don't think it's worth paying for when we can use these free things which are fine, or...?

You mentioned Quadeye, but they don't have a topic on the Minecraft Server Hosting board. Why would you choose them?
I prefer some of those pinned on the board because they're trustable. Let me see if I can find a way to compare the hosts...
Here are some comparitions:

I say MinecraftBox since it has a whitelist... or Multiplay, but it has no prices, but you can upload and download maps.

I want one with plugins, which means Bukkit-type modifiers and stuff I hope.

Anyway, those are my two choices, I guess.

I won't spoil too much.

Also, I think other servers can have whitelists too. I just couldn't find information about it. I think we should contact the cheapest ones, perhaps, and if they have what we need, try them, and get a refund if any of us lag.

I haven't confirmed mods on Fragnet and Minecraft CM, but I recommend you check the servers for what you need, then we can update the table if you find more info.

I think it's just a voice chat function, like Skype, but on the server instead.

What is the method to pay for them? Paypal?

If I can, I might pay $5, which is like what 3.5 euros.

Then no, I am not going to have the voice chat function unless I don't have to use it.

Nobody has to use it, only if they want to. I rarely use voice chat either.

I think the paying methods are different. I remember one of them having a "friend payment" option, where the payment could be spread on multiple persons, but otherwise I also hope it'll be PayPal. Many of them probably have many different payment options.

Okay... We'll have to figure out, but I don't have much money. If I don't buy EU III first, then you'll get around 3.5 euros per month till I don't have any money. :P

Another thing we have to take into account is FTP and consloe access for the owner.

We've been griefed. Epiclake Farm, Epicland Hillhouse and Pine Hill Center were all filled with lava. So I have reverted to the last backupy. If anyone has made anything significant today, I can try to move it into the backup using MCEdit.

There's food in Spawntown/Bla's town though.
And hey, Spawntown is The People's town!

Oh. :P

Btw, I'm not accussing anyone of the griefing.
And btw, I hereby declare the underground rail system to Yukitown fini shed! Spawntown has also been fenced some more, and with the torches it should even be acceptably safe in the "outskirts" now.

I hate that texture pack then. It looks like a lower quality default texture pack.
