Gran Turismo 5
« on: January 01, 2011, 12:48:46 AM »
Yes, I did it. What now?

Okay... I really don't know what I made this topic for.

I kinda wanted to let myself know what I'm going to do today in Gran Turismo. But w/e You can talk about it here and stuff.

I am gonna get money some how and buy a 3 million credit race car in the online dealership before they remove it. I have almost 1 million credits.
I hope I can do it quick enough... For some reason the Used Car dealership isn't pushing out any cheaper (500,000 to 1,500,000 credit) race cars like it does normally.

Another interesting racing game. I haven't played one since I was 8 or 9? Anyways, it looks pretty fun, but I'll probably not going to buy it since we have to do other stuff.

Gran Turnismo 5 came out last year... You couldn't have played it when you were 8 or 9... Possibly number 4 though.

Umm... I really hope there are endurance races? Because now I'm level 20 and have unlocked the Extreme races thing, but I don't see any clear evidence of multi-hour races! >:(
There simply HAS to be a 24 hour Le Mans, otherwise this game fails terribly. They've added a day/night cycle, changing weather and capacity for 12 cars, remaking that race would be so obvious.

I play the online special events to get lots of cash and level up quickly, but now I think I'll use the first race of the two races that are only for cars with turbochargers.

Yes, but they also give hundreds of thousands of credits when you do, and just by winning one you usually gain a level.

Also, Bla I'm gonna be on early... err... earlier, tomorrow. So if you want to race, now that we're both level 20.  :P

Do you have any supercars? I don't think you have the Veyron yet, as your Log says you are still competing in the Gran Turismo Championship. Win they veyron, and we'll race in them. Also we should do a kart race. Those are hilariously awesome.

I have a Veyron. But I'm not sure I'll be online today.

About endurance races:

I think they will be unlocked at level 25, and the last one (Nürnburgring 24h) at level 40. At least, I'm pretty sure they exist.

You should join the TPRA... though that might require some EARLY morning races for you. :P

What's TPRA? I don't have time for morning races though, especially not in the winter when it takes even longer to get to high school. I cycle one hour before I have to be there.

This is not in GT5, but it relates to tracks...

Wtf did you do Bla?

Btw, if you can get me info on any versions of this track or other tracks, I can add it to: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/atomic7732/1542145 which will eventually be a GT like game and not just NASCAR
