planets Shadows

one that is missing that planets don't have a Shadow when they pass ehcother  :o

This was already proposed last year. I don't know if Dan will put it in the the future updates.
Btw, can you post all your ideas in one topic? That way the forums will be cleaner.  :)

Since planets rarely ever get within the distance for a solar eclipse to cast a shadow, I think that is why it has not been implemented.

Also, I have a question. Do you include moons in this?
(That would be more common for moons to cause a solar eclipse)

I do eventually want to implement planet shadows, but I think my time is better spent working on other features at the moment.

And no worries about putting all your ideas in one thread or bringing up old ideas. One idea per thread totally makes sense.

Other than tab categorization, moons and planets are basically the same thing in Universe Sandbox. A shadow feature would work on both types of bodies the same way.
