Almost snowed here in Florida 3 years ago. The most I got that day was small, almost flake-like sheets of ice that melted on contact of the ground. But you could still notice a good layer of snow-ish ice on the ground. That was an awesome day.

I live in Greenland. Weather is never an excuse to be late or close something here. If you can't handle a blizzard then you are living the wrong place.

Well, town being no more than 2km from one end to the other of course also help.

I've done a few times. They spread gravel on the roads though so it is not really practical, only right after fresh snow. Usually I just walk.
