I Wiz Sooooo Lucky - Glad I moved to here.

I used to live in East Anglia - the "bump" on the East of England.

But NOW - I am living near to Portsmouth, Hampshire.
It got Damn Cold - and it is getting Cold again.

BUT - No Snow - leastways No snow which stayed on the ground, here.

Will this front (excuse my meteorological terms) reach the east coast at one point, or will it dissipate by the time it does reach the other side?

No, the rockies kill about 99.9999% of all organized storms that dare cross them. The low itself can make it across, which will partially be the case with this one and you in Florida might see the front on Tuesday.

by then but not for another like 3 - 5 days

besides that's when ISON is too close to the sun to view safely (at least in a telescope)

And it's highly doubtful that it will be visible in a solar filter, even if it is magnitude like -6
