Electrified Creepers

Charged Creepers (aka Electrified Creepers) are the latest of monsters that players need to be on the lookout for should a lightning storm brew. If during a storm lightning strikes a Creeper, it will become electrified. This is an extremely rare occurrence. The explosion from an electrified creeper does increased damage and has increased range. They are easy to differentiate from normal creepers by the blue glow surrounding them.
Electrified creepers can cause huge amounts of damage. The player's shelter is only truly safe from them when using Obsidian as a construction material. Due to the increased blast radius, it is extremely hard to cancel a charged explosion, as they will continue to swell up.

I am starting to feel that weather is good, but I am going to turn it off (I have Single Player Commands so I can turn it off) when I see a creeper chasing me and lighting hits nearby (not on the creeper though) I will turn it off. Or I can use fly to get out of the blast radius, which I don't want to know the size of.

Forcing an update, by starting the launcher and choosing options, and of course clicking on force update, resets the Minecraft.jar file which controls the Minecraft game.

Summary:
Forcing an update resets the game files.

ModLoader and ModLoader MP does nothing, it just increase compabilities (or something like that) between mods.

It's not working and I did as the instructions told me (minus ModLoader and ModLoaderMP)

Edit: With ModLoader and ModLoaderMP, I get black screen (yay not).

Did you delete the meta.inf folder?
A lot of people forget that when installing mods.

Has anyone here successfully installed ModLoader (at least), and ModLoaderMP? If not ModLoaderMP, could you try and tell me how the f**k you get it to work?

Problem: After modifying the minecraft.jar, nothing changes. I can't use new recipes and don't find any new ore.
Solution: You probably forgot to install ModLoader as well. No ModLoader, no mod being loaded.

I've used modloader a handful of times.
I might be a bit all over the place because I'm tired, but I'll try and help.
Methinks you should clear your Minecraft by deleting the bin folder in C:\Users\*YOURNAMEHERE*\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft.I'm guessing you already know how to get there if you installed modloader. Running Minecraft after this will make it re-download all it's files.
Your texture packs, if any, will be saved.
Let me know if you did this.
