Hooray for rendering minecraft! This took about an hour for my GTX 690 to render. Also my giant tower (laid block by block in create mode, outside consists of over 40,000 obsidian blocks) It's also ran on an infinite energy powerstation.

matty they're also adding new biomes, the black lighting glitch is mostly gone, and as usual the 300 or so bugfixes in each update.

No biome changes outside of having spurce trees grow in extreme hills is confirmed yet. Considering extreme hills still exists, I don't think there will be much of a change to terrain generation outside of some new biomes and maybe more naturally generated stuff.

Another new biome, "redwood" one like the FTB one we settled in on FTBlacraft.

2x2 spruce trees! Also that grass block variant found in that picture will act like mycelium. Something you can pick up with silk touch.

Nice, especially nice to see them adding a biome utilizing old wood types in new ways rather than getting more wood types which will make the UBSR Google doc longer...

Minecraft developers may have uploaded the image, or maybe it's from a development version. It's probably not in an official update yet.

Another thing worth noticing is that there is dirt without grass on it. Either the new redwood forest grass type doesn't spread, or there will be dirt that can never get grass on it. Or it just generates that way and the new grass type slowly spreads to it.
