I need some help. I have 2 research and 5 economy bases. I do not know if I should get 4 research bases and 5 economy, or 3 research bases and 6 economy bases, or 2 research bases. Or, if I should buy premium so I can build a lot of multi-level-platforms/terreform. Building a tenth base is costly and I need a lot of economy (I only have 676 econ). Also, planet or moon?

Moon if you really like the game and plan to upgrade your account some day.

I would go for more economy bases. Usually they're what set the limits on your production, research and construction, if you aren't a good fighter who can easily find profitable enemies to attack.

3 research
3 production
1 defense
7 economy
3 general (with research labs, but not as main focus)

They should all have defenses, but you saw Zoytax on the last page? :P That's my defense base. The point is, prings and pshields cost 100% on planets, 50% on moons, and 25% on asteroids. So I make an asteroid with insane defenses, because they're cheap. Asteroids aren't very good for anything else because they don't have a lot of space.

It does, but not as much as other bases.
It's not a waste of credits, because you can have a bigger fleet there without it getting profitable for enemies to attack.

Rockies = production
Crystalline = economy.

Rockies have 1 more fertility than metallics. The crystal mines aren't worth it imo - get a crystalline for that, it'll just take up space and make your terraform/multiplat even more expensive.

Well, it's your own choice. But rockies are better for production.
