Graph or any data export
« on: February 07, 2018, 12:01:02 PM »
It is possible to get data out of the program in any way?  What I want to do is apply a Fourier transform to orbits to get the component wave forms, then plug that into a synthesizer to see what it sounds like.

A graph would be ideal, or measurements exported to text would work too.

Thanks

Trying to find out what a solar system sounds like, eh...

I don't think there's currently any way to have the program export data on its own but, although time-consuming, you could copy down the orbital elements and have that "on rails" so to speak to create the audio and if necessary, use another program to do the mathematics involved, I don't know much about this sort of thing so I don't know the details, and so pardon me if I'm completeely wrong ...and the idea isn't very satisfying, I know, but its the only way I can think of that you could do this since you can't export data.

I appreciate it.  I can try that with something simple, and see how the results turn out.
