Touch pad not letting me zoom in and out?

Hey guys, I recently purchased a new laptop and it appears that I am unable to zoom in and our using the touchpad. I was able to do this on my old one (but its been a while since I redownloaded US2 onto my new mac) and was wondering if there were any updates or bugs that have changed this?

The input controls have an option for zooming the camera in and out. But I cant bind those to my touchpad.
What I'm looking for is the  zoom that you can make into or out of a system, for some reason I cant do that anymore with the touchpad.

i dont know if is possible to zoom with the pad but you can bu the mouse to do it
