Stretching orbit of added bodies?

I'm enjoying this simulation, but a feature I'd like to see is stretching the orbits of added bodies. This can currently be done if you incline the orbit, but I'd like to create more elliptical orbits in the current orbital plane.
...just so I can send a couple of Jupiters careening into the inner solar system.

You can do this by tweaking the "eccentricity" meter of the object.

You can also do it by adjusting the orbital speed. I've found that you can create any orbit you want by playing with eccentricity, inclination, argument of periapsis, orbital speed, and the other orbital parameters available.
