For those of you who don't know, the term "Kaiju" refers to giant monsters, namely Godzilla.
With Legendary's 2014 release of Godzilla, sequels are already being planned. Legendary is making a new King Kong movie and is working on the sequel to Godzilla, which will reintroduce some other famous Toho monsters. Apparently, we'll also be getting a Godzilla vs King Kong movie at some point.
As if this new Kaiju universe wasn't enough, Toho also rebooted their Godzilla franchise with Godzilla Resurgence (or "Shin Godzilla"). This version of Godzilla is an odd twist on the creature we're used to; it shares characteristics with Hedorah (another Toho monster), starting as a product of nuclear waste being dumped into the ocean and evolving through several forms before becoming the menacing beast that we recognize, and even then, it's a very different creature. This movie left us with a cliffhanger ending that confused fans.
What new movies of this style would you guys like to see? Personally, I think it would be awesome if Legendary reimagined the 1998 version of Godzilla (or "Zilla"), pitting it against the new 2014 version of Godzilla.
