The first edition of the
Longvision Song Contest is here! No we couldn't think of a better name! The theme for this edition is
longer is better, because we are here to celebrate the beauty that can be unleashed and the stories that can be told by songs that are longer than Big Radio (and Big TMC) are friendly to. This contest is dedicated to songs longer than five minutes of any kind!
We are in
Saelunavvk, Solea for the inaugural edition of the contest. So that these long songs get the attention and intimacy that they deserve, the contest will be hosted at the
hikutÃkąna kahe néneki katǎkoÅ¡ata, a small, secluded outdoor amphitheater deep in the forests outside of Saelunavvk.

Discord. The contest will function like Univision and Videovision, with the exception of valid entry rules.
You may submit up to
three entries that are:

longer than five minutes in length
-
a single track,
listed on websites like spotify, bandcamp, wikipedia, discogs, etc,. as such (so, no albums or mixes)
-
not a loop of an existing song
(for example, to make it longer than five minutes or otherwise absurd in length)
Entries may be denied at the host's discretion (aka me) for unclear or unreasonable cases.
The deadline for entries is one week from now... 23:59 UTC on
October 16, 2020. This is 17:00 PDT/MST on
Friday.
