Alien life and physics
« on: July 11, 2016, 11:13:07 PM »
I like how often Aliens or Alien technologies are depicted in fiction as being made of unknown materials/elements.
Which is technically impossible as we can see in the Periodic Table.
New elements only need more protons.
thus any unknown elements would be very heavy/dense.
But as we see, the elements above 90-95 are so radioactive and unstable that they decay too quickly to be found in natural sources.  Thus they are synthetics.

That goes to say the same would apply to any life form or technology in the universe.

I say that because I feel like nobody really took time to think about it seriously.
I wish there was more movies or science-fiction medias using this as a base.

That also point out to a little meme i made and posted on 9gag
