I'm not sure how degrading a pretty cool idea without any backup and inserting irrelevant political commentary contributes to the discussion, but I digress.

I personally think it would be pretty complicated to integrate into US2, but it definitely might be something for the devs to check out

I see this is an old discussion, so this is for future viewers: you don't need Unity integration at all for 3D mouse integration, Blender and Maya are great examples.
