Modeling Ionospheres

Hey,
Just started fresh with the game so I apologize if I ask something dumb.

So my goal is to model the effect of the planets and sun's ionospheres on that of our own.
It stands to reasons that you could use fountains of large amounts of particles to model this (like a fluid).
I was wondering how I would go about doing this?
