The feline perched on top of the boulder, staring off into the distance. Swonx saw it framed perfectly beneath the waterfall, slightly obscured by the mist, but the cat saw itself someplace else. The cat longed for his familiar forest with its bubbly creeks, and ached for his wooden cabin that provided a warm shelter with human company. He turned its head and looked at the waterfall, and was reminded of the water magic that his owner would often use to tease him. Swonx smiled and sheathed her knife. She snapped her fingers and the turquoise aura that had enveloped her hand retreated into her body. Whatever the cat was thinking about, she hoped it was having a peaceful existence. Floenne called out to her, and she turned to her left and began to walk back onto the trail. They had a long journey ahead of them.
