Fragmentation issues
« on: July 09, 2015, 11:12:59 PM »
Alright, Collisions in 15.2 look magnificent, however I have a few issues with Fragments failing to form.
I run simulations with 12,000 maximum non attracting bodies, and 500 Maximum Attracting bodies, and when running my collisions at time-steps of 1 second per second, attracting body fragments will not form until long after the collision, often long after most of the particles have decayed. How can I force the fragments to decay from particles sooner after my initial impact? The debug settings tweakables have settings that seem pertain to this issue but I do not know what number values should be set to.

What setting under tweakables will cause attracting body fragments to form faster from non attracting particles?

transitionTimeLow, transitionTimeHigh.
The lower, the faster fragments become attracting.
Higher transitionBaseChance, more fragments.

Note that not all of these settings will be in the final release.
Most of the debug settings are likely to disappear.
