Proto planet system creation help

I already know how to make a proto planet system, but, is there an easier way to add a s*** load of asteroids, well.. not easier... just faster.... thanks in advance.

well i would like to see a simple thing, when you enter the add bodies menu there are 2 little text boxes, and 1 button, 1 box is a number for how many objects, one is how many KM apart they are, and the button can change between how many km from the center of each other, from the surface of each other or from the hill sphere of each other.
