Basically you take the positions of songs each nation voted for, put them into a formula so that the larger the number, the closer they are to getting the top 10 correct (giving 15 points to 1st and 1 point to 10th). Then you divide that number by the perfect score, so that the best score you can get is 1.000.
Taking the average then should determine the "spread" of voting, whether the winners were more confidently decided (more people agree == higher average), or if it was a close competition (lower average).
I plan on doing this for the previous editions as well, but I'll have to include juries in the calculation for I and II. That way we can see how the editions compare and who the all-time most correct voter is. Over time and in one edition.
Just some fun stuff, it's not really that useful.
