Is this a bug? ( planet cooldown )

When i was having fun with the system i loaded ( Earth,moon,sun ) i smashed Ceres into the Earth and fast forward to 5.9 days per second and the earth cooled but with a somehow different continent? but it was frozen and all icy? but there is water on the surface and the temperature was  -273 degrees, i was shocked when i saw the video about collision and the earth somehow returned to its normal state but when i tried to follow it the same thing happened even though i changed the temperature to 14 degrees it still cools to negative... i checked the distance and it is at the habitable zone and it is a loaded file from the game itself?

can anyone explain how this is?

If you melted the Earth's crust and recooled it, it would have an entirely different topography.

The collisions probably blew away the atmosphere. If you don't have an atmosphere, you will freeze. Parts of this are bugs, but overall normal.

Well actually the Atmosphere returned but the planets temperature suddenly dropped
from 100 to -273, also when i change the temperature it cools down and suddenly changes again i mean it does not count down but suddenly changes

This is a common bug. I would wait for more updates in the meantime if I were you.
