Quadruple Star System
« on: April 24, 2010, 11:38:26 PM »
Yai. :D

I made a quadruple... which was pretty simple. Plus a Venus-like planet orbiting the two main stars (Sun and Alpha Centauri).  Have fun XD :P

And yeah... only works on Beta. Ill try to make it xml later.

EDIT: Oops, Wolf 359 and Venus gets flung out. I'll try to fix that later..

EDIT2: Download the system below this post.

REVISED VERSION: New system. Should be stable, and replaces the first stars with VY Canis Majoris, VV Cephei, Antares, and Betelgeuse.

My Steps:
1. Make four stars in a row.
2. Select two stars and add a barycenter as well as making them orbit each other.
3. Repeat step 2 for other two stars.
4. Select both barycenters and add a barycenter, as well as making them orbit each other.

Very cool. Gravity continues to amaze me. It's so simple, yet so beautiful, yet so destructive, yet so constructive.

I fixed a problem with double clicking a ubox file to open and load a system. It would open Universe Sandbox but then hang, it will work correctly in the next release.
