Venus using procedural textures?
« on: August 18, 2014, 06:11:21 PM »
I started up a new simulation and found when I selected Venus in the 'Add' section, when I selected the planet it shows normally, but when placed it shows the bumpmap but rather than the normal texture, Venus shows to be a procedural world. Can someone tell me whats going on?

Try going to the "materials" tab and if water is present, make so it's zero and add 100 percent of iron then 100 percent of silicate.

Yeah it's a bug where its COMPLETELY covered in water, and without a star to heat it up, Venus just becomes solid ice. The real bug is the water level. I think GA accidentally made the water levels too high. Hope they fix it soon.
