Fermi Problem Contest

Each round starts when the host posts a problem. A round last five days.
During the first two days, everyone posts either the answer to the problem or a commitment to their answer.
On the third day everyone who sent in a commitment must post their answer.
On the last two days the host ranks the solutions in order from best to worst.
The best solution becomes the host, repeat. If the host does not rank, then the second best solution from the last round becomes the host and so on.

What is a commitment?

Remember, an educated estimation is more impressive than googling the value of some constant.
