An old abandoned house. No idea what it's purpose was. Might've been something for the old copper miners, but there is a fireplace in there, and a metal hatch on the wall.

Terrain looks a bit like what I've seen in Scotland, but less hilly. Looks nice.

The Long Meg monolith. It overlooks a large circle of stones.
There are engravings of spirals and circles made by the ancient peoples.
Time for fokelore: there's a few stories relating to Long Meg; one say that the monolith and all the rocks are a coven of witches turned to stone by a Scottish wizard. The stones are supposedly uncountable, if a person counts to the correct amount twice, their shit gets cursed. Another story is that if you travel around the circle and count off all the stones correctly then put your ear to the monolith, you will hear Meg whisper.

counting the stones can be difficult, because as you go around the circle their form looks different because you're at different angles when you look back.

Rievaulx Abbey, an abbey built by French Cistercian monks who came from mother abbeys in France. Truly huge.


Fountains Abbey, an abbey built by English monks who joined the Cistercian Order making fountains the second Cistercian abbey in England after Rievaulx.
