Every competition game I play

Every time I play something like CoC or Dragon City or whatever, I get really good, and then I realize I'm playing shit. Does this happen to you?

I don't know why I called it a competition game, kol. I don't know the name for them, but you know those games where you have different buildings and you need money for them and you can trade gems for money and all that crap.

One of those games where you get a good start to build with, but then it slows down to an unpractical rate and it's all "Hey you can buy 30 coins for $30 if you don't want to wait 100 days for your next coin"

What Matty describes sounds worryingly much like Project Terra.

Interestingly those games are more like 'pay to progress', because there's not really a win condition, the game just eventually comes to a halt eventually and you can pay real money to get the ball rolling again. They get you into a sticky trap of frustration that you can't continue because it's going at a snail's pace.

Yeah, they're pretty addictive before that halt. Once you near that halt, it's like playing the same level of a game over and over and over.
