oh my god I thought stan was some word mashed together with fan but I never had the faintest clue what that word could have been, it's wild that it isn't that

to be honest I slightly disagree with the top definition, I personally don't think it automatically means obsessive/crazy but that is pretty much the majority of "stanners" so I can see why
