Is there a way to get rid of your nation when you screw it up?

Edit: Nevermind, you can't. Unfortunately...

Following new legislation in Spheron Rilmu, it is illegal to make racist remarks in public.

No, I didn't say that, I said no Nazism!

Every decision causes dramatic effects. You can quickly take control of your nation.

Look at Starrie, mudkipz was a corrupt dictator and it became a Capitalist Paradise. New Pegasopolis also went the other way, from Liberal Democratic Socialists to Corrupt Dictatorship.

WTF, each citizen owns an adverege of 33 weapons.

Category: Scandinavian Liberal Paradise

Civil Rights: Superb
Economy: Basket Case
Political Freedoms: Excellent

The United Socialist States of Aeridani is a fledgling, genial nation, remarkable for its strong anti-business politics. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 6 million enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level of social equality free from the usual accompanying government corruption.

The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, socially-minded morass -- is mainly concerned with Law & Order, although Education and Defence are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 39%, but much higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Pizza Delivery. (WTF?)

Scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, the tenet of free speech is held dear, Aeridani's children are widely acknowledged as the most foul-mouthed in the region, and citizens select which government department gets their income tax New Dollars each year. Crime is moderate. Aeridani's national animal is the Tabby Cat, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the New Dollar.

Aeridani is ranked 3rd in The United Pacific States and 24,139th in the world for Most Extreme, scoring 23 on the Paul-Nader Subjective Decentrality Index.

Your kind are not of the Starrie race, so we look down upon you. We'd rather you not try and persuade us to change this view, it just comes naturally. We are prejudice like that.

iKol'd at Scandinavian Liberal Paradise Gay-Marriage State, especially because Denmark is Scandinavian but gays can't marry and call it marriage.
*Soon, though*
Idrc about being able to do it in the church, it's just ridiculous that the concept from the church gets a special status and recognizion, thus making it discrimination to exclude people from it.

I think NationStates is making a mistake by calling the left "Liberal" and the right "Conservative". There are many people who don't fall into those two categories, but the terms still seem to be used to cover everything. And in Denmark liberals and conservatives are allied on the right... It just makes it feel like picking one of two poisons.

Also kol'd at
Father/Mother Knows Best State (Left: Suspiciously Conservative Democracy) (Right: Suspiciously Liberal Dictatorship)
Authoritarian Democracy (Left: Mouth-Breathing Creationists) (Right: Slightly Oppressive But A Little Discipline Never Hurt Anyone State)
Benevolent Dictatorship (Left: Temporary Liberal State of Emergency) (Right: Temporary Conservative State of Emergency)

"Freedom for all!"

Political Freedoms: Below Average
Civil Rights: Below Average

That doesn't even make any sense, I should change my motto to "No freedom!"

Well your political freedoms are 2 below 50 and your civil rights are exactly 50.

Your motto could be the ideal of your nation, what you try to achieve. It doesn't have to be exactly what it is now. You can't make your perfect nation overnight in NationStates, it takes a long time to go through a lot of policies which will affect your nation a bit each time you respond to them.

And if you make a mistake, there aren't an infinite number of issues either, so sooner or later I guess you'll get the same one again... Although I haven't got the same issue twice yet.

I have 2 questions.

Do those badge things only get rewarded if the World Census reports on that specific attribute is posted up?

And do you lose them on your page if you drop out of say, the top 10% of extreme countries in the world?

It seems Starrie is the most corrupt, and Aeridani and SKA tie for the least corrupt.

I think it's just a random graphing thing the WA does.

"59 minutes ago: Following new legislation in Ethanthova, bizarre-looking creatures called 'Dovedogs' dominate wildlife preserves."

I laughed so hard. Half-bird half-dog.

You know, the UPS mail trucks. I meant them as a kind of joke.
