You'll have to define 'near Italy' better... the purple balkan thing is Byzantium.

And Iberia is Granada's doing (which I released and then helped in a war when they called me in). Apparently Portugal and Navarre took the opportunity and saw that Castille was in a really bad position, unfortunately Portugal got nothing on the mainland from them. Navarre took a province, and Granada took two (including Madrid).

The GH got right up to Bavaria's doorstep all of a sudden, yipe! O.O Never seen them get this far into central Europe, let alone overrun Austria.

Bohemia and Austria just had a pretty major war not that long ago, so I guess the GH took advantage of Austria's weakened state.
