Add Sunspots on surfaces of stars
« on: June 09, 2018, 12:27:51 PM »
There is a crucial feature that is missing from the visual elements of stars in Universe Sandbox 2. This graphical feature is sunspots. Sunspots must be added to all stars including the Sun in the list of stars and custom made stars and random spawn stars. Sunspots must also be animated and must eject flares into space as they normally do. Sunspots must be visible as black spots and turn white when ejecting powerful bursts of radioactive flares into space.

I believe there's already sunspots in the game, you just gotta look really closely, a sunspot will appear if you wait long enough

Also Can You PLEASE STOP SUGGESTING SO MANY THINGS?

I only suggest features that are missing. I have never seen sunspots on any stars, so sunspots must be added to all categories and random spawn stars.

I have seen them and they are there. They are not necessarily a required feature. They are already animated, although flares dont come from them in US2 and they aren't that common, but they are in US2.

I have never seen Sunspots on stars in Universe Sandbox 2.

OMG! If you had never seen one, but others saw it, THEN WHY YOU SUGESTED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!

I suggested sunspots in the first place because they don't exist yet in Universe Sandbox 2.

What they're trying to tell you is that they DO exist right now.

How can they exist if I can't see them?

The visual effects of sunspots must be improved to make them visible.

You just have to look closely...they do exist, I've personally seen them.

I don't see them, but see shimmering, moving colored spots like the black and white shimmering spots like on an analog TV screen.

This is:

1. not important at the moment

2. needless (they already exist)

3. demanding of the devs
