It was a widely held opinion that, as far as ice giants went, there was one in particular that was second to none in its majesty. Widely held by all of its secretive inhabitants, that is. Its beige cloud bands, intermixed with blue and white in a lazy series of twists and turns gave off the appearance of an icicle shattered on the floorboards. Melted Icicle, as it came to be known, was one of nature’s finest paintings, and one must only look in its hill sphere for testimony.
The giant’s dusty rings had been preserved during its settlement, as their thin, dark and refined composure was a perfect complement to the planet’s elegance. But around those rings now laid a dozen asteroids, taken from the debris belt just beyond the planet. These space rocks, each shaped much like a potato and each of the order of tens of kilometers in length, were rotating much faster than one would expect. Indeed, they were acting like a centrifuge in order to provide gravity within.
The asteroids, at some point or another - it was quite a long time ago, to be fair - had been completely hollowed out. Each of them had had their own personalized climate painted on their interior surface as an experiment in the ultimate form of art: the breathing of life into the sterility of space.
The dozen or so inhabitants of these asteroids, the Forumers, were an old clique dating back to the Information Era on Earth. Their history is rather secretive, and their dialect incomprehensible, being heavily reliant on ancient and forgotten memes. No outsider has ever been allowed to venture inside of their asteroids, as they state that they refuse to “open the port, stop having it be closed,” an old English phrase whose meaning has but completely evaporated over the past thousand years. This has contributed to great interest and speculation as to what goes on inside of those asteroids, and also of the past of the Forumers. Though all traces of their internet history were thought to have been wiped a little before the Starward Migration, recently some chat logs from the early twenty first century were found by historians. Excerpts of interest have been attached below, and whether or not they provide further insight into the personality of the Forumers remains to be seen.

Excerpt #1:
<Hottlehone> get hype kolkon
<CycloneApak> goond not the wait
<Hottlehone> same tbh, estoy al parque
<Sohkte> icu fiah

Excerpt #2:
<Iezikol> So this is what it feels like to lose someone close to you
<Stowaway> fuck this has to be a dream

Except #3:
<Stowaway> "The horrible deity that calls itself 'Ofooiba Páyoaxo', master of the horrible dimension; named in the divine prose as 'ծ'ժշչջ', will name Smjjames as their successor. A mistake that will inevitably topple their reign."
<smjjames> lol!

THEY live a mysterious life. Unlike the other groups, they have gone their unique way through the world and acted with incomprehensible motives. And although the Experiment’s official press does not consider them to be main characters, their influence on the Experiment is indisputable and they have aggregated a massive cult following over the years.

These two characters, whose real-life identities remain confidential and perhaps are no longer existant, have proven to be master orchestrators of fate. Their actions so far in the Experiment have helped turn its original purpose upside down, and in fact may be responsible for causing it to become so popular in the first place. But nevertheless, they prefer to remain in the shadows. Some speculate that they are working on extremely powerful magic, perhaps powerful enough to completely upend the stability of the realm. Whatever ends they are working towards, one clue is clear: they have not appeared to age a single day since they first entered the game several years ago.

SYULE, the older and taller of the two, entered the Experiment with a plethora of knowledge in advanced mathematics and computer science. She has used this to pioneer the field of computational mana, unlocking nearly limitless potential to shape the world around her.

FLOENNE, the younger and more flamboyant of the duo, also entered the Experiment with a computer science background, and has combined those skills with her masterful intuition to develop formidable weapons and scripts that outmatch nearly anything else available throughout the realm.

With that done, I shall recount to you their story from beginning until now:
