Hello everyone,

Will brown dwarf shine their own light?...I m creating a world with a Brown Dwarf star...its about 66 jupiters mass. It glow but it seem that the planets orbiting it do not register is glowing. I still see the fantom sun :/

I don't mean that...is 66,7 Jupiter and it have a temperature of 984 degree C. Its glowing.

It shine but planets around it doesn't show it. Planets doesn't receive lights from the brown dwarf but only from the ghost sun

if i put a really low class of M-Dwarf let say 0,095 sun...planets will receive is light... and the ghost sun disappear.

Its about the same problem with a molten planet....bodies around it should receive is light. Since its glowing...sure it ain't like having a star....but still.

Most of my planets are pretty close to the Brown dwarf....less than 20 days orbital period...so it should receive some light.

Would be nice to have an option to turn off that ghost sun (when you don't have a M-type start at least.
