Omfsm!

Well... Interesting. :)

Dan Dixon:
I totally thought that article was true until I read this:

Is the Sun from another galaxy?
http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2007/06/27/is-the-sun-from-another-galaxy/

"Studies of the Sun’s motion relative to the plane of the Milky Way (using the stars, globular clusters, other galaxies, and many other sources) make it a rock-solid certainty that the Sun’s orbit is in fact in the plane of the Milky Way."

I like the idea of our Sun being from another galaxy. Too bad it's not true.

Arata:
But it's possible our orbit then broke off from Sagittarius and now we orbit the milky way.
If you search on Google and you will find results.
If we were from the milky way, we form in the ecliptic planet.
What is this plane exactly? I forget.

monmarfori:
That is false. and we live in an arm of the milky way galaxy.
