Title: ok so here i'm going to do a thing

i will attempt to make a map of each continent/region with a map for every border change ever.

it will be difficult and it will take forever, but

yeah

i want to make it interactive but idk how to do that and i will start with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_African_Republic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_African_Republic) South Africa and it's stuff like Natalia, Transvaal, Orange Free State, etc

I could make it in tkinter... I think you can do tooltip stuff in there, or maybe on a webpage.

guys i'm not doing nations that never changed in history so stop asking

first of all, i'm doing REGIONS

and since I'm doing every country ever (idk back to maybe like 1700) then why are you suggesting me things to do, if I don't give up after south africa, then I'll probably get it done. Unless you want the Frankish Empire then you're out of luck.

yes but still I'm doing regions, one of the regions will probably be south america, a much larger area in similar resolution because of less border changes and lack of tiny nations
