I'm sick and tired of all there theories of 2012 so I'll post the TRUE theory  >:(:

Bla Bla Bla... Just because a human made calendar is reset due to the galactic alignment doesn't mean time will be reset. It just means whoever made the calendar was off by a few thousand years.

There is no galactic alignment in 2012.
