Title: Giant Alien Planet May Have Split into 2 Earth-Size Worlds

Must have been pretty epic, although I'm sure it could have taken place over a period of centuries or millenia. Anyways, this particular star is a former red giant, so any life bearing planets would have been incinerated long ago.

Just thought it was something interesting....
