Post by: Dan Dixon on August 12, 2009, 09:34:05 PM
This is awesome...

Be sure to watch at 2:50 when the magic happens.

Our Universe is amazing.

Comparison between the original Deep Field and the new Ultra Deep Field (made possible by the 2009 Hubble upgrade):

Edit:
My Dad emailed me to point out that the Ultra Deep Field was done in 2003-2004.

"So the 2009 Hubble upgrade had nothing to do with it. However with the new 2009 upgrade, they may be able to do something better."

Most of the time, you can trust Wikipedia. If you are in doubt, click on the small uplifted number in square brackets, that will lead you to the footnotes showing sources.
However, sometimes especially on the smaller sites and such, you can't always trust the information, but most of the time, you can. :)
