Title: Rings of Neptune
Post by: Cesare on September 21, 2018, 07:37:27 AM
I have added Neptune to a custom simulation and wanted to add Neptune rings. I have found out that the Rings of Neptune is missing from the list of rings in the "add rings" section. Please add rings for Neptune in the "add rings" section.

It is true that Neptune has rings. Read this article here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rings_of_Neptune

It is true that Neptune has rings, but they are shaped strangely if I remember correctly, so the system that does the rings may not work with them

Neptune has extremely fine rings like Jupiter. That's why they are extremely difficult to see.

But that's not what I'm talking about, I'm talking about how one of the most prominent rings is actually not a complete ring, and I don't know if the physics in US2 works to simulate that especially without any moons in the simulation. It wouldn't be accurate.

I am not sure either, but perhaps one day Universe Sandbox 2 would be programmed to simulate a non-complete set of rings.
