Title: PegasiProgramming website is now online!
Post by: atomic7732 on October 30, 2011, 02:58:42 PM
http://pegasiprogramming.net/ (http://pegasiprogramming.net/)

This is the website I will use to host the forum statistics as well as progress on my programming works and other things possibly in the future. The website is still a work in progress, so if you find any errors and stuff, let me know.

Please don't upload anything on the sharer yet, I'm still working on the coding for that to work properly.

I am making progress on the uploader. I set up the database and the scripts to put it on the correct page, but now I need to get it so that you can upload the files and input the data from the website. Once that is complete, I'll open it up for use, and then I'll get the formatting completed. If I do not complete it by tomorrow, I'm hoping it'll be done by Wednesday.

By the way, the rest of the site should be working as it was meant to. So if you're getting problems, let me know.

mudkipz, yeah I'm lazy on the relative ones, those'll be done monthly hopefully. I'll start working more on that after the uploader/sharer is complete.

The first attempt at a logo, just a draft... I was tossing around some ideas, I guess you could say.

It's a stylized wing, based on the banner pic.

What is with you and low res? It's not low res, it's just not anti-aliased.

And his picture is high res, as you can't exactly see the pixels. His is just aliased, without smoothing. :P

The Gaussian Blur looks awful on it? Only if you had the layered version. :P

yeah... no.

The point is to be... cyan. Not white.

Normally your editing skillz are legit, Fiah, but that looks awful imo.

Btw, the background is meant to be a "starscape". I didn't want to use a NASA image cause then I'd have to attribute it everywhere. Although, in your edit, the stars look a bit better with the less saturation due to whatever you did to brighten the image.

Also turns out I can't use the site for archive or logs. So I can't make an online pywx. Actually I probably could if it only archived for like the last 24 hours or something. Their numbers given for stuff that would slow down seriously is about 1000x higher than what pywx would use. So, I guess that's not really even archiving anyway, and I'm not slowing the servers excessively so... I don't want to say I could 'get away with it' but I could probably do it without it being considered violating the ToS.

The thing is, I really wanted to make it keep all the track info... I'm gonna look into hosting a website myself.
